Paradox interactive just issued a press release stating that an expansion to the Penumbra series [bobdog's review] of adventure games is coming under the title of Penumbra: Requiem. Details about the new game are not provided but according to the press release it is aimed at "tying up loose ends from previous installments". Frictional games is of course working on this expansion since they are the ones who started the Penumbra phenomenon.

I didn't realize that the folks at Telltale Games were into S&M (and Im not talking about Sam & Max here). See they invent a name that is barely writable without screwing up and they release two news about it before the final release of the game (which is not common, they generally just go with one between each episode). So today, we have a bunch of new screenshots and a very short gameplay video of the season 2 Finale: What's New BEELZEBUB?

After the review of the Penumbra series by bobdog published earlier this week, we have a little interview issued by Paradox Interactive of Thomas Grip and Jens Nilsson, the two guys behind Frictional Games and Penumbra. The interview itself is about the physical interaction system but also about the reasons behind the changes made in Black Plague gameplay compared to Overture.

Well, I was so "busy" playing the latest episode of Sam & Max that I actually forgot to tell you that it was available for download (as usual a demo that you can unlock if you bought the episode or the season). Chariots Of The Dogs is the penultimate episode of the second season. Next one (titled TBA as of now and scheduled to be released on April 11) will consequently -- how odd is that? -- be the last.
