This times it's our dear leader of the pack Rogue Wolf bringing us a review of the game Dead Space.
EA marketing, usually so agressive, was not particularly brilliant here because this particular title remained more or less under the radar. But hey, it's not because a game vanishes in dead space that it is bad. According to Rogue's review score, it isn't.
So have a break and go read the review for Dead Space.

My first review in a pretty long (and busy) time. Developed by the Ukrainian of Action Forms Ltd, Cryostasis is a survival horror game with an atmosphere really... well, freezing (not to be played in Winter). I must warn you however that this review has the particularity to overstress the technical side of things just because the performances in game have the ability to puzzle even the most seasoned reviewer. You thought that Crysis was putting your computer on its knees? Think again; you never played Cryostasis.
Now you have been warned so go read the full Cryostasis review

Marshal Lemon, AKA "Little Bugger" in The Foxhole world, released a few days ago the first issue of his comics series based on the events of Half-Life 2, When In Ravenholm and let me tell you, it some precious bit of real fun for all HL fans and even those who are just looking for a good laugh. Additionally to the 24 comic strips that were released during the previous months, Marshal spiced the final release even more with material by Orloprat and Silver Sorrow.
When in Ravenholm issue 1: We kinda went to Ravenholm (in PDF format) can be obtained either by paying a visit to Marshal's Machinima website or by going to the right topic in the Machinima corner of our forums where you'll also be able to have a look at the second issue in progress.
Have some good laughs... I know I did.

If a guy came to you asking you to open a box and that you could guess that opening it would wreck havoc to the world community leaving only little hope while keeping it tight shut would be the best thing to do peace-wise, what would you do? Of course, I'd probably wrap up the thing and throw it into the vacuum of deep space. On the other hand, Silver Sorrow would probably yell something like "I got it! I got it! Let me open the damn thing before the flavor vanishes!"... Er well... So it's not about our tastes about conspicuous boxes but bobdog experience with one. Yeah, guess what... he opened it!, Bravely and thoroughly, just to bring you, our dear readers a review of the thing.

The folks at Podcast17 have compiled their latest weekly transmission (code: 12233) that contains among other things an interview of Au-Huppa and Psycho from Half-Life: Short Stories which is an upcoming episodic mod for Half-Life 2 (I'm just giving a little hint for those who didn't come across it; now is the occasion).
The transmission also includes details for a graphic contest that would eventually bring the winner a copy of Half-Life 2 and Half-Life Episode 2 (What the hell are those games anyway... nah; just kidding ). You'll also find info about the Left 4 Dead DLC, Citizens Arms, Decadence and a lot of other stuff (boy it took the guys one page to give an overlook of the transmission; just don't expect me to do the same )
And of course, you can directly hit Podcast17 reservoir to catch the previous transmissions you have missed (if any)
