As you probably noticed from the counter we have on the home page, a fundraiser event involving video games will be held on October 18th, the Extra Life Gaming Marathon an idea of the site Sarcastic Gamer. Sponsored gamers from all around the world will play video games for 24 hours straight and the money gathered from their sponsorship will go to the Texas Children's Hospital to fund pediatric cancer research and treatment.![]() In preparation of the event, Marshall has put up the nice picture below. Feel free to reproduce it on you own website if you wish to announce the event. ![]() You can also apply to be a contestant in the Marathon (all the necessary info is available on the Extra Life page at the Sarcastic Gamer website). With the Extra Life Gaming Marathon, you get to do what you love the most, play games, plus you help kids and the cancer research in the process. You cannot go wrong with that.
