The announcement happens about two weeks after they finished working on the Warhammer 40.000: Dawn Of War expansion Soulstorm which is scheduled to be released early March.

Well they don't really want you to know but when you are a company on the stock exchange you're forced to divulge financial information once in a while and let say that Ubisoft seems to be doing pretty well (much more than Eidos in any case). With a financial result of €450 millions (US$652 millions) for the third quarter of the current financial year they score an increase of 44.4% compared to the same period last year. They even managed to outstripped their own prevision from last December that was of €410 millions. And they go on telling that this excellent result is due to no small part to outstanding sales of Assassin's Creed on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms which was the best selling game in Europe and 2nd best selling game in the US for the PS3 and 2nd and 3rd for the Xbox 360.
