Well, it seems that Electronic Arts is heading for a full promotion of the coming PC Version of Mass Effect, the acclaimed third-person action/RPG Xbox 360 title developed by Bioware. And they start by releasing 3 videos extracted from the PC version to show the differences with the Xbox 360 one (of course only those who have played the Xbox version will be able to see the differences but... whatever; at least it gives some taste of what the PC version will be). Oh and yeah, there is also a fourth video but this one is well "special". I'm not sure what was exactly the purpose of Electronic Arts in releasing that one.

As we come closer to the European release on May 28, Hervé Sliwa, lead designer of the upcoming adventure/action title Alone In The Dark (developed by Eden and published by Atari) just released the first part of a developer diary containing some bits of information especially about how the idea of the reviving of the long-time franchise came up.

Contrary to a general belief, and despite the confusion that this may spawn among the fans, this new Alone In The Dark that should be labeled 5 is really just Alone In The Dark (no number).

While they are finishing to polish the PC version of their console hit from last Fall Assassin's Creed, Ubisoft decided to come with some new information and some (very few) new PC screens. To do so, they didn't go and answer any interview on the web, they just issued a Q&A sheet to the press. As a matter of fact, the company doesn't seem very eager to tout the PC version of the game and they don't need to. At this point, Assassin's Creed in its console iteration was so much of a hit that it paid the game development and allowed a wealthy profit so the PC version is kind of a bonus commercially. They don't even need it to be a best-seller (although they would probably welcome it as well).
