Last Friday, the developer Replay Studios along with the publisher Gamecock Media announced the change of the title of their upcoming third person stealth/action game Sabotage into the more expressive Velvet Assassin. Well, It works for me at least since as long as the game was just called Sabotage, it seems that it completely went under my radar. I suppose I found the title really flat. The change was motivated by the fact that the new title exactly "capture the heart" (to quote their own words) of what the developers are trying to achieve. So what about some more info, some screens and even a little video footage as a treat?

Mass Effect is a Science-Fiction RPG/Action third person perspective game developed by Bioware (and published by Microsoft) which received a rather warm welcome from the reviewers across the web when it was released for the Xbox 360 gaming system last Fall.

As usual when it comes to Microsoft, they made sure to give the exclusivity of the game to their little Xbox baby but today we have a firm release date set for the PC version of Mass Effect. It will be May 6 for both North America and Europe. We also have some screens of the PC version for you.

Some time ago, we relayed a weird rumor about the configuration that will be needed to run the PC version of the highly acclaimed title Assassin's Creed from Ubisoft. Unfortunately, this rumor in particular appears now to be valid in some way although it mixed up the RAM specs for XP and Vista. Ubisoft just released in their German forum an official config requirement for Assassin's creed and it's amusing (or creepy, it depends on your mood) enough to read.

Not sure how much this rumor may be considered reliable (after all the definition of a rumor is to be exactly the opposite of reliable), but the site eXophage quote a "reliable [albeit] anonymous source" (I added the [albeit] myself because I love how "anonymous" sources can be considered reliable -- it reminds me so well of all the stuff one may read about stars these days) that sent them some details on the configurations required/recommended to run Assassin's Creed on PC. And let's say this is so highly ridiculous that the rumor might be just that... a rumor.
